During the procurement process numerous documents are created (e.g. offers, contracts etc.) and there is a need for unified storage of these unstructured documents in electronic form in one place for easy access and search. For these Document Management Systems are used since they also have additional features like document classification, archiving, auditing and similar. This presentation describes extension of Oracle EBS with DMS for procurement process. During this process various documents are created in each procurement phase and then stored in DMS. Access rights to this documents are based on work places defined in organizational schema.
