Velimir Srića Ekonomski fakultet Zagreb

Graduated from Gymnasium Classicum in Zagreb, earned BBA from Faculty of Economics and Business, MS from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Zagreb, MBA (Fulbright Scholarship) from.Graduate School of Business, Columbia University, New York, and PhD in Information Systems Management. He is Professor of Management and IT at University of Zagreb and visiting associate professor at UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles). He serves as program director of DELFIN (Developing Effective Leadership in Innovation), a consulting firm. He occasionally teaches at Renmin University in China, at Maribor, Graz, Rijeka, Sarajevo, Podgorica, Split and Osijek as well as at IEDC, Bled. He is World Bank expert on Change Management. He is holder of Eisenhower Fellowship from US government, and won Mijo Mirković and Josip Juraj Strossmayer awards for his books. He is member of many international professional institutions, served as managing director of Croatian Council for Informatics and was editor of the first Croatian IT journal. As Minister of Science, technology and IT he was member of Croatian government, one of the founders of Computer literacy society, Croatian/American Society, and Croatian European Movement. He was board member of CEEMAN ´Central East/European Management Development Association´ and first editor of CEEMAN News. He published 60 books, over 400 professional papers and a few hundred columns in popular magazines, also he coauthored the International Encyclopedia of Business and Management, Thomson Publishing. He consults many regional and global companies in management and IT.
